DF-M multi-channel targeting system – a solution for detecting and countering drones

28.10.2025

Ukrainian company Piranha Tech has announced the DF-M (DF-3 ) multi-channel directional system, a mobile electronic countermeasures platform with automatic detection, remote control and dynamic targeting of a signal source in real time. The system is designed to protect critical infrastructure and respond quickly to threats from small civilian and tactical UAVs, including such types as the DJI Mavic.

The DF-M combines several important components: a multi-channel architecture (up to 12 simultaneous channels), a 360° rotating mechanism, and a mobile telescopic tripod up to 10.5 m high, which provides a wide coverage area and efficient antenna pointing. The operating frequency range of the system is 100-6000 MHz, and the power and channel configurations can be adapted to customer requirements, allowing it to cover a wide range of radio communications and navigation channels used by commercial small-format drones.

Thanks to the ability to automatically detect the location of the transmitting node and dynamic targeting, DF-M allows you to quickly localize and neutralize the sources of drone control or data transmission, minimizing the risk to personnel and infrastructure. The system has a ruggedized design (IP55), compact weight, and options for vehicle, trailer, roof, or tripod mounting, making it easy to deploy in a variety of scenarios. Piranha Tech

“The DF-MD is designed to be a complete solution for today’s small UAV threats: a combination of automatic detection, precise targeting, and adaptive multi-channel action enables effective protection of critical assets,” Piranha Tech said.
